Low Impact Forestry Workshop

YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED FOR THE CLASS UNTIL WE HAVE BOTH PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FORM. The MOFGA Low-Impact Forestry Steering Committee is pleased to offer an event that is unique in its scope and focus. This workshop is designed for beginner and intermediate participants who are interested in managing their own woodlands sustainably or exploring sustainable forestry or woodcutting as a livelihood. The workshop places special emphasis on alternative
management techniques such as draft animal power and appropriate-scale machinery, including a small portable bandsaw mill and tractor-powered forwarder. The 2010 dates for this workshop are November 19, 20, and 21.
Registration fees are as follows: All three days- $180.00, any single day- $75, Friday evening programs only - $10.00, Apprentice or student - $35/day or $90 for all three days.
