Grafting Fruit Trees

Held on Saturday, April 12, 2014; 10am to 3pm;  Common Ground Education Center with Jen Reis of Whiffletree Nursery

Learn to propagate and reproduce your favorite fruit tree varieties. Instructors will explain how to graft, demonstrate Whip & Tongue and T-Budding, as well as outdoor grafting (top working) of established trees. Participants will graft trees to take home and plant. Care for the new trees will also be discussed. Please bring a grafting knife and a bag lunch.
Grafting Knives (model #475v Victorinox Grafting) can be purchased in advance from A.M. Leonard, or FEDCO.
