  • Properties of soil--testing soil, soil husbandry, composting;
  • Adding value to crops and marketing;
  • Organic certification;
  • Crop rotation and green manures;
  • Insects and diseases;
  • Livestock;
  • Weed management;
  • Farmer presentation;
  • Open discussion and wrap-up.

Lectures by Eric Sideman, MOFGA’s Vegetable Specialist. Guest lecturers, including local farmers, will also speak and join the discussion.
